OUTSTATION SAMPLES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. NOT PERFORMED ON SUNDAY AND HOLIDAY. Sample should reach AmPath within 15 minutes of collection. Condom collection is not acceptable. Mention exact time of specimen collection on TRF. Patient should refrain from ejaculation for 3 days. Immediately prior to collection patient should urinate, wash genital area with lukewarm water and dry the part. Collect the entire ejaculate. Specimen must be kept at body temperature (shirt pocket, 37deg C) after collection.
