Use metal-free jerry can available from AmPath (NO PRESERVATIVE). Collect urine in sterile metal free container. After shaking the can, take aliquot (10-20 mL) urine in metal-free scintillation vial available from AmPath (NO PRESERVATIVE). Mention 24 hours urine volume on the vial. Use powder free gloves while specimen collection Patient should avoid intake of vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements for 7 days prior to sample collection
