Collect specimen in metal-free dark-colored container (NO PRESERVATIVE). Protect from light. After shaking the can, take aliquot (10-20 mL) urine in metal-free scintillation vial (NO PRESERVATIVE). Courier in dark brown container. Use powder free gloves while specimen collection. Patients should not consume antacid suspensions prior to the test.
