Instruction
Aliquot of 24 hours urine with appropriate volume of 50% HCl, added drop by drop to bring pH between 1 - 3. Do not use concentrated HCl. Record 24 hours urine volume on TRF and urine container. DO NOT use bananas, pineapple, nuts, avocado, brinjal, plum, tomoto or drugs such as Fluorouracil, Melphanan, Paracetamol, Acetaminophen, Heparin, L-Dopa, Imipramine, Isoniazid, MAO inhibitors, Phenothiazines, Promethazine, alcoholic bevarages, caffeine, tea/coffee, tobocco or strenous exercise at least 72 hours before the specimen collection.Mention clinical details (history, CT SCAN,USG and medication) on TRF.
