AmPath’s clinical team includes pathologists with training and practice experience across India, the UK and US. Its members provide a customized approach to diagnostics as a results of specialty training in disciplines such as Biochemistry, Hematopathology, Histopathology, Microbiology, Immunohistochemistry and Molecular Pathology. Sub-specialty experts in Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology perform all Histopathology assessment. In addition to the expertise of our superb clinical team, AmPath benefits from oversight by UPMC pathologists, who also utilize their specialty training to ensure AmPath’s clinical performance and operational standards remain at optimal levels.

Dr. Manu Goyal, MD (Pathology), DNB (Pathology)
Consultant Hematopathologist

Dr. Manu has dedicated his career in pathology to elevating hemopathology to the highest possible standard for the benefit of patients. He has particular interest in using the latest technological instruments in the area of flow cytometry for hematological malignancies, CD4 counts and T-cell subset enumeration, HLA-B27 screening, PNH screening and platelet function disorders. His expertise also covers molecular diagnostics in the field of hematology. Dr. Manu has published and lectured widely on these topics in multiple Indian medical journals and at conferences and workshops across South India.

Dr. Anurag Gupta
Consultant Cytogenetics

Dr. Anurag Gupta earned his MD (Pathology) at TN Medical College and BNY Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai. From then, he completed fellowship training in Clinical Cytogenetics at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata and obtained a post-graduate diploma in Health and Hospital Management as well. Throughout his education and career he has earned multiple distinctions in areas such as biochemistry, microbiology, otorhinolaryngology, and other medical specialties. Dr. Gupta’s primary interests lie in study of acute leukemias, multiple myeloma and other hematolymphoid neoplasm cytogenetics, as well as molecular cytogenetics for diagnosis and prognostication of these malignancies.
